All the offensive "weapons" haven't been good except Jauan Jennings. Deebo can't get open, it's very concerning. CMC gets a pass since he's played 2 games.
Another big culprit is the massive regression from Brock Purdy, he's had good games this year but by-and-large he's been straight up bad this season

I have a pet theory that QBs who lose their 1st superbowl appearance never get over the emotional let down and it usually ruins their careers, and it is very much in play with Purdy right now

I don't think Purdy has been bad. If you watch some of the QB school videos the receivers just aren't open. The running game also hasn't been great. I put more of this on Shanahan than the players though.

It goes both ways with him, some times the scheme/talent is failing him but he also doesn't make life easier for his receivers

The stats lie in the Bucs game, he had an entirely respectable stat line but watching the game there were a TON of high-sailing balls where he got bailed out by athletic pass-catchers who could leap up and grab what should have been uncatchable passes

He's been incredibly inconsistent, some days he looks elite, some days he looks like a backup, you don't know what to expect from him right now

Maybe this performance will finally force arrogant Shanahan to build up his OL to help the run game and protect Purdy. Deebo kinda looks cooked too, and of course all the injuries...
You can't play as physical as SF does without getting hurt as well. Deebo is likely a cut in the off-season. Going to see some noteable name changes next season.

But I hate to lose someone like Nakken. She wasn't the problem in this organization, or at least I don't think she was.
I really wouldn't have any reference point to know how well a player development coach or really any assistant in any sport does their job unless it's someone who is a coordinator in football where you can say something about the plays or formations they call. But since she's landing on her feet working for the reigning AL Manager of the Year, I assume the perception is that she knows what she's doing.

The big thing with the Giants is that they need to do a lot better at drafting and developing young players.
