Benefit of the doubt he had barely any time to change direction once Lawrence went into the slide but it didn’t look like he made any attempt to do so either.

Was acting like an asshole afterward too so maybe benefit of the doubt isn’t the right take here

Here’s where it would help if players tackled instead of hit. He goes in to wrap him up and bring him down and even if he mis-times it he doesn’t take him out the game like that. It’s a late hit flag and we move on.

McCaffrey likely ruptured his injured Achilles again tonight.

A bad situation in SF just became catastrophic

Update: looks like it was a PCL tear. Which, still bad.
To be fair he had a ton of wear in Carolina and is past the prime of a rb.

Surprised he was as durable as he was for SF.

McCaffery is like a sports car. Fun and flashy but always in the shop.

MNF tonight is fun. Jamies Winston is having a great night.

Didn't Scottie Pippen refuse to enter a playoff game in the final seconds because the play wasn't called for him? Or am I mis-remembering?

I don't remember that when it happened (1994?) but you are correct. I think he was upset because Toni Kukoc had a turnover the play before and Scottie didn't understand why Toni was the one who would be taking the winning shot.

Wow, I would have guessed the Sabres held that record, but it seems like the Jets are just one year longer. Also, I assumed the Hornets would have been up there, since I never hear about them making the playoffs, but I guess that’s more about them only making it 3 times in 22 years than any longevity.

Jets and Sabres technically tied, same season. Hornets currently have the longest playoff drought in the NBA (2016) but right now they are another 8 seasons from the all-time record (Kings 2006-2023)

Also, this just happened on MNF
