If you're taking a QB, grabbing Levis might not have been a bad get, especially if you sit him. He also had some injuries at the end of the season that affected his overall record.

Just looking over the stats from the Bucks/Celtics game. The refs swallowed their whistles for that game.
-2 FT attempts total in the game (MIL 2, BOS 0). previous NBA record was 11 FT attempts combined
-MIL committed (was called) only 4 fouls the entire game. Fewest in league history
-BOS getting 0 FT attempts is the first time ever, a couple of teams have had 1 in the past.
-The game was over in under than 2 hours (1:57).

I agree that the likelihood of swapping picks with ATL is remote. But I would be happy with any draft compensation. More bullets in the gun, especially if they are looking to move up.
I don’t think that’s how it’ll work. It will likely be that Atlanta loses a pick to the void.
I think swapping the 8 and 11 picks would be a fair, tidy, and elegant, solution. It would be a slap on the wrist for the Facons - they've got their QB, and will still have a choice between a lot of talent at #11, presuming that at least 4 of the picks prior will be QB's- but will sting enough to make them reconsider doing it again. Since the Vikings were the aggrieved party, they get some recompense, but only three spots. It's not like they'll be parachuted into Maye, Daniels, or McCarthy territory.
Whole bunch of nonsense. Show me a player tampering punishment that resulted in compensation going to the other team.

It’s really hard to call the vikings a victim when there is absolutely 0 chance they were going to offer Cousins a similar contract and Cousins was going to test free agency no matter what. Them being “surprised” is just theatrical bullshit
Swapping the 8th with the 11th is the equivalency of a 3rd round pick.
It doesn't matter if the Vikings are the victims or not. This sort of tampering has been going on way too long and given the situation, the NFL may step in to put an end to it. They already created a tampering period. Cousins should have never opened his mouth and this probably would have been swept under the rug.
Also apparently there are multiple cases of possible tampering by the Falcons this off-season.
The issue is expecting the vikings to get anything at all.
The recent examples are:
Chiefs lost their 3rd and 6th round picks in 2016 for tampering with Jeremy Maclin.
The Dolphins lost their 1st and 3rd round picks in 2022 for tampering with Tom Brady AND Sean Payton’s agent.
Cousins doesn’t warrant Atlanta losing their 1st or 2nd round pick. Thus, making them forfeit a mid round pick (and maybe a late round pick) is the logical punishment.
Why even have a tampering rule if you aren't going to enforce it? All ATL had to do was follow the rules, or at least, if you are going to break them, don't talk about it in the press.
Cousins is a top 10 QB in the QB crazy league. Saying that he isn't valuable is ridiculous.

Anyway, on to more important things, Newcastle somehow destroyed Tottenham 4-0, today. Can't figure out if they were really good, or Tottenham really bad.
If Newcastle can somehow manage to set themselves up for European soccer next season it'd be huge.

The vikings are the least of the packers worries when it comes to the NFC North, regardless of where they select in the 1st round this year. I just think it’s incorrect to expect compensation at all, let alone a top 11 pick swap
