...he's still a teenager...Jack Hughes had the EXACT same issues when he broke in; seems to be doing a lot better now...give the kid time...

Are the Devils a Cup level team with Hughes as a top two centre? Maybe he should move to the wing too?

Faceoffs, which have been an issue for him and one of the reasons some think he should move to wing, has improved quite a bit for Bedard lately.

Bedard is extremely talented, but I think he just needs time to figure out how to take full advantage of his skill set in the NHL.

Look at other undersized superstars who had slow starts in the NHL like Patrick Kane....he didn't fully break out until his 9th season. Before that he was just seen as a star PPG player, then something clicked and he was lifted to superstar status.

Before Kane’s 9th season the best players in the world were just point per game players
