Its the Flyers. They will never win a contract negotiation because they do not like tension; everyone must be happy. The fact that it was not 7X7 is a plus. Takes him to 30 and then, hopefully jettison. Is there a NMC because that would be so Flyers

There's nothing wrong with this contract. Mid level player gets mid level contract with mid level term. Everybody happy. Can be moved or re-signed at the end of it fairly easily. This should leave them with a fair bit of cap room unless they do something stupid with York, which I doubt.

We have seen time and time again this organization do something even a little good and then the next move is a disaster. I will not give them the benefit of the doubt on that until the prove they can consistently do things without shooting themselves in the foot on the next move.
