This is a statistic that will probably go the other direction sooner than later
...and back in the 1950's it was "no team has won a Cup with a player making more than $25,000".Can't wait for this thread in a few years
"No team has won the Stanely Cup with a player on their roster making more than 14M aav"
Exactly....and back in the 1950's it was "no team has won a Cup with a player making more than $25,000".
ReallyA few days ago it was “you can’t win a Stanley Cup with a goalie making a large chunk of the salary cap”.
Reminds me of the no team has won the cup with a 9+M goalie and then we got one winning or making the finals like every year.10mil seems to be the marker.
Highest AAV when they won the cup:
Eichel 10 mil
Barkov 10 mil
Bobrovsky 10 mil
Kuch 9.5mil
Malkin 9.5 mil
Vasy 9.5 mil
Stone 9.5 mil
Gonna be crazy when Toronto wins with Matthews at 13, Willie at 11 and Connor at 14.
You play Stray O Matic computer hockey too???Gonna be crazy when Toronto wins with Matthews at 13, Willie at 11 and Connor at 14.
