I am not necessarily worried about the regular season. But the fact that MB doubled down on SL and the players look this bad and have no idea how to play the Habs system... It's just pathetic.

It's not just the young players either, the NHL roster is very low in skill level and is by no means a physical team either. I could care less about preseason games but the compete level is developed in these games and tbh it has been very poor. We will be in a dog fight for a playoff spot and that is only if Price stays healthy.

Not many NHLer look really good either during that Camp....but it's not about them, it's all about the prospects now (or at least it should be).


Look at teams losing players left and right during camps, that will hurt them to start the season.
In fact i would ask my regular to go easy and just play the last preseason games.

We can't afford a lot of injuries seeing how our prospect perform right now.

I just don't understand why Drouin isn't playing. He has barely played Center in his NHL career, yet after 4 games, he has only played one. The Habs have 4 games in 6 nights coming up, I would doubt seeing him in more than 2 maybe 3 of them. I would have preferred he got in as many games as possible to get comfort as a center.

Apparently you don't really need them. Puck moving is overrated anyway, our forwards don't seem to be able to do it very well either.
