Gibbons may never be more than a 4th line player in the nhl but for now hes bringing about all you can ask of one- hustling, takeaways in the offensive zone, shoving back when his teammates get shoved

I'm still not quite used to the new devils jerseys without the waist stripe. I don't hate them but there really wasnt a thing wrong with the old ones. Except maybe that they weren't red and green

Yeah, the old Devils jerseys were a paint by numbers of the ideal hockey jersey, but they were a little too perfect and were fairly bland as a result. But these new ones are a noticeable downgrade.

Sabourin (Ottawa) had a collision with Backes. Clean hit but Sabourin went in the air, was out before he hit the ground and hit head first on the ice and didn't move much for a couple minutes. He was also bleeding on the ice. I have never heard the garden that quiet. It was a very scary fall. I hope he's okay.
