He was a Devils draft pick in 2015.

No mention of this one on Devils' media or in Fitz' briefing.

Any role for.him with the other signings or is this strictly for Utica?

Probably just for Utica, "veteran" LD as we'll have a couple rookie RD with Casey/Diotte. If there's a LHD injury, it'd probably be between White and Santeri Hatakka to get called up. I suppose Kurtis MacDermid has played D in the past but I don't know if that'd be a viable option.

It's a ballpark guess (lefty-righty), we'll see if Diotte starts in the AHL or has a stint in the ECHL like Vilen did last season.
