It was actually a perfect time.. could of taken an instigator penalty and still have Power play
Well now you have no choice, you can't take the C from him, either you shouldn't have given it, or he's your captain and you don't want to anger him by taking the C. Although Dahlin wasn't there on the ice at that moment and he himself got hit in the head in the first period and responded to it.I know this will not be a popular take, but stuff affirms my views that dahlin really hasnt filled the captain role to it's potential
You missed my point entirely, so I’ll elaborate. Dahlin’s captaincy had no bearing on the lack of a response. Also, he wasn’t made captain just because he’s good at hockey.Because he's really good at hockey. That's not the entire job description of the role in my opinion
What do they give C for? Off the ice, in training, on the ice. I think he did a lot to get that and we didn't have anyone to give the C to back then. We didn't have those vetes on the team. Dahlin is already a vet himself after 7 years in NHL.You missed my point entirely, so I’ll elaborate. Dahlin’s captaincy had no bearing on the lack of a response. Also, he wasn’t made captain just because he’s good at hockey.
It’s just a bad take.
“I’ll go to war with these guys”
- Kevyn Adams…the worst General in the history of war…and the worst General Manager in the history of sports
This team has been getting metaphorically pounded by Lucic for almost two decades. Throw in some tank vibes and the stench of Pegula, it's no wonder we're swimming in despair. The Thompson hit was the Miller hit 2.0
15 years later and this team still doesn't stand up for each other.
If Buffalo would have answered when Zucker got slammed into the net....
Yes it does. As a leader on the team he can set a precedent and demand a response. The coaches can too, it's not mutually exclusive. And if either group is waiting for the other to ask for the response it's a failure on both their parts. You missed my point entirely, so I’ll elaborate. Dahlin’s captaincy had no bearing on the lack of a response. Also, he wasn’t made captain just because he’s good at hockey.

He won't be coming to Buffalo. This team needs a Sam Bennett type of player so badly.
It really emphasizes the lies we have been told by this regime. How they are all great guys in the locker room, they all like each other, they all want to be here.Benson would have jumped someone.
That is the end of my list of people I’m 100 percent sure would have responded if they had been on the ice.
It really emphasizes the lies we have been told by this regime. How they are all great guys in the locker room, they all like each other, they all want to be here.
You see your good friend get smoked in the head out on the street you just stand there and watch?
Yet these guys did it on the ice.
Losers. Dahlin should have his C taken away.
You’re reaching, badly. However, you’re welcome to it.Yes it does. As a leader on the team he can set a precedent and demand a response. The coaches can too, it's not mutually exclusive. And if either group is waiting for the other to ask for the response it's a failure on both their parts.
This team continues to get pushed around I don't believe that would be the case if the leaders of the team demanded more of their teammates.
The first thing that comes to mind is quakers. They will all head to the Bible study to pray for their friend.
What if your friend is Dylan Cozens? Do you really want to spend the night in the ER hoping he recovers? It really emphasizes the lies we have been told by this regime. How they are all great guys in the locker room, they all like each other, they all want to be here.
You see your good friend get smoked in the head out on the street you just stand there and watch?

No he can’t. If the pansies on this team don’t have it in them no one is gonna give it to them. Dahlin isn’t the problem it is the way this team was constructed and the fact a guy who’s only hockey bonafides is a first place finish in the Fredonia squirt B holiday tournament 20 years ago thinking he has to be heard in on ice decisions.Yes it does. As a leader on the team he can set a precedent and demand a response. The coaches can too, it's not mutually exclusive. And if either group is waiting for the other to ask for the response it's a failure on both their parts.

Dahlin says they might not have responded because they "might not have known who it was". Admitted in a very unconvincing manor that they can address those things better.Tuch making excuses for the team's no response in the locker room
In the Sabres locker room, thoughts and prayers are like a Tyson uppercut to the dome. They will all head to the Bible study to pray for their friend.
