I don't mean to derail, but do you guys think with Larsson utilizing his offense, that Greene will be more defensive and have less goals? I'm asking this because I've seen a few people putting down ~4G ~20A. The guy went 4G 12A in the half season.

With that said, if Larsson is likely to be more offensive, Greene's assists should be anywhere from 25-30. I'm not sure if his goal total will alter, if he ends up becoming a bit defensive. Still I'll guess (or hope, rather) 9g from Greene.

I will not say numbers here, but I can see Jagr beating Elias, mark my words and call me lunetic:D

If they play with each other they will have a lot of pretty plays that's for sure. I could see Jagr getting more goals than patty, but I think Elias will get more assists. They should have similar point totals if all goes well.

Greene 6g 28a 34p
Larsson 11g 17a 28p
Fayne 2g 11a 13p
Salvador 0g 7a 7p

Volchenkov 1g 2a 3p
Gelinas 7g 16a 23p

Elias 15g 55a 70p
Zajac 25g 35a 60p
Henrique 24g 40a 64p
Zubrus 12g 15a 27p

hey look I love Larsson as much as the next guy and I hope he does it, but I don't think its realistic

I think one day it will happen, but i think next year will be another year of building his defensive game before letting him off his offensive leash. I don't mind it this way, if he keeps progressing defensively the way he is and then he starts working on and bringing his O game to the table, he will be an amazing 2 way d man, top pairing hands down... that will hurt real bad when he signs with someone else his first UFA year though.......

What has he proved to make him "The Real Deal" ???

take a look at who had 45 points the last full season. loktionov can get it. he has the vision, awareness, shot to score, intelligence despite his size. he is gonna have a breakout year.

Yea, not buying it at all. Doubt he gets that much. Good chance he is sent to the AHL out of all our forwards because he wouldnt have to go through waivers if I remember correctly. (If he does have to go through waivers, then nevermind, he wont be in the AHL)

lou didn't resign him do go to the ahl. he played top 6 minutes last year. he will be playing on the 3rd line at the worst. he is much better balance then one sided offensive Tedenby or one sided defenive Josefson.

Again but if him Tedenby and Josefson are all around the same level at camp, he will be the one to go down because he wouldnt have to go through waivers.

I wouldn't be shocked if he got around 50. Hes going to have a huge chip on his shoulder to prove people wrong and show hes worth that contract and last year was just an anomaly. A motivated player like that is always dangerous.

ChicagoDevilsFan26 was much better you really don't want the traitor and the Russian in your name.;)

We have 6 players with a real chance at 20 goals. That is a ridiculously overlooked aspect of this team, especially by those saying the Devils will be the worst team in the Metro.

Elias, Ryder, Henrique, Zajac, Jagr and Clowe can all do it.

I don't really know what this means. We have 15 forwards on our NHL roster right now. Every one of them except for Gionta is on a one-way contract, so the argument "Lou didn't sign/re-sign him to go to the AHL can be applied to every single forward on our roster. Yet still one of them is going to be sent there, or claimed on waivers while being sent there.
