It's even harder to do with the Markstrom we've had since he returned and guys like Nemec playing at all.

You can see he still has some skill when he handles the puck, but he clearly isn't processing the game fast enough anymore so he just winds up getting closed in on by the defense and turning it over or being forced to make a suboptimal decision.

I think those things are a bit apples and oranges. I can understand the distaste for thr idiots who ran hockey Canada who allowed the crappy things that went down during their tenure but there are still plenty of kids in Canada playing for the love of playing
