If you clear DeBrusk’s cap space, maybe you can take a run at Claude Giroux if Philadelphia retains salary for a short term fix for a cup run.
Except.... again what does BOS have to give for Giroux.... not much without giving up the 1 or more of the 2 or 3 good prospects they have, and more importantly, what makes you think the BOS D corps is capable of a Cup run?

Dealing DeBrusk in order to go all in really makes no sense, and on top of everything else, I'm just not a fan of Foote.

So then it really doesn’t make sense to have Bergeron, Marchand, or Hall on the team and Boston should go into a rebuild.

I’m not arguing your point, I’m just saying at this point where your team is age wise, if you’re not going to go all in, you should just sell on the older talent and build a team around Pastrnak and McAvoy.
