Nintendo Switch #5

There better be some bombs dropped tomorrow.

The “surprise” in the new Mario Kart better be something cool. Like you can get out of your kart at the finish line and start brawling.

On Thursday, they have another four hour thing called "treehouse", which i think is people showing off more demos so not everything will be revealed tomorrow

I'm thinking tomorrow is mostly first party games and maybe a Final Fantasy IX Remastermake thing and Thursday will be third parties and a deeper dive into first party stuff. Too bad I don't live in the major cities where their having these "Experience" things throughout the spring.

Tree house is usually a deeper dive of something already announced if my memory serves me correctly.

For instance they had the Metroid Dread 90 second trailer in the direct and then the tree house was a 45 minute sit down about the gameplay.

They better not charge for Switch 2 editions of games.

Xbox doesn't charge for Series S/X versions of games or devs will bundle them together at no extra cost. Sony only charges a small upgrade fee when they put out enough of an upgrade where they consider it its own game if you happen to own it already.

They are charging an 'upgrade' fee. The tutorial 'game' for Switch 2 is one you have to buy as well.

I joined late so I'll have to rewatch the start to see if they highlighted the upgraded hardware but this has been an overall disappointment for me.
