I managed to get the bundle from Staples about half an hour ago.

Ended up securing my preorder through Best Buy who started their queue late. Was in queue for almost an hour. Had a bundle in my cart on Target two minutes in but the purchase never went through. Apparently they're canceling pre-orders left and right. Scalpers ruin everything.

Pretty much what happened with me. Best Buy seems to be my lucky winner. Got my PS5 day 1 there too

Does seem like launch inventory was pretty solid overall. Don't see too many complaints of people failing to get one from at least one of the retailers.

Got through to Best Buy - got the Switch 2 into my cart and then boom kicked from the site.

Hmm interesting - I have yet to get an email, but it looks like my order is confirmed in my account.

I maintain the price is insane, the Switch 1 was seen as the casual console and was cheaper than Sony/MS and this is going in the opposite direction. Nintendo is supposed to appeal to kids, most parents will ball at this cost. Remastered Switch games seem likely to be more expensive than GTA 6 ffs.

I’m sure hardcore fans will buy a lot in the early days but I’d be stunned if it sells like the Switch past that. I’m still going to buy one when a must play title comes out, Smash or a new 3D Mario. Fine to sit on the sidelines for now.

I'm banking on the device having more power to run third party AAA titles. If it can run Elden Ring and Cyberpunk and Switch games, that's a pretty good combo. Even if those games are lower fidelity than a gaming PC or current gen PS5/Xbox.

I didn't even get Switch 1 until November so I have a few years' worth of a backlog to get through before bothering with the Switch 2. If I even still want to, I'll get one on sale in 2028.

It's important to note this was in reference to people who signed up for invitations to buy the Switch 2 on their own website. Everyone who purchased from a retailer is going to be fine. It does suggest that there will be pretty limited availability at launch though. I have a feeling this thing is going to go for a pretty high price when the launch FOMO hits and there aren't many consoles for sale.

I've been trying to collect all the upgrades in TOTK and I have 19 of the 20 Sage's Wills and can't find the last one. I'm going to every location over and over, with the chest sensor on, and nothing. Most likely I beat a construct and Tulin blew the chest off the island somehow, and they're supposed to respawn after a blood moon or restarting the game but they're not all respawning. It's annoying considering how much of a pain in the ass it is to get to some of these sky islands.
