I know this is what everyone always says... but it becomes difficult to tell when we have a solid residency of dumbass posters with dumbass opinions on here.

Side note- we are still all rooting for Nils to succeed. Save the McDonagh trade!

Lundkvist, Henriksson, Väisänen and Hájek is the legacy of that trade at the moment. Not great.

No matter what Lundkvist becomes it was clear right away, like the day of the trade, that we did not win the McDonagh trade.

Generally, if you give up the best player in the trade, you lose the trade 95% of the time. Columbus lost the Nash trade, Arizona lost the Yandle trade. Unless it's a rental trade, you're not winning the trade if you are getting futures.

We won the Gaborik trade, and at that time he was a much better player than Brassard was.

If your claim had been true, should that have been a prioity in roster management?
How would that show "poor at communicating with players"?
Or that "idiots run the nyr"?
Poor communication was more for not telling kak he was being scratched in the po.

I don't know that that's accurate, i know Kakko said they didn't tell him why but i suspect thats just him and the organization not wanting to explain the reason he was benched. What's he gonna say? "They said i was too slow and not scoring enough "? I can't see that scenario happening.

That other 5% is made of Wade Redden-type experiences. But before you call me out on "that wasn't a trade," I'm already there, so I know.

Or skate harder move your legs more and shoot more.. it's kind disrespectful not telling him tho no? I don't think it happens often where a player sees it on the board first... maybe it's mind games.

Gallant has had 3 prior head-coaching jobs in the NHL, and every time he was fired before finishing his 3rd season. I know everyone says players like playing for him, but he seems to have a short shelf-life. I wonder why.

Not many players will tell the truth especially when still playing for the coach. Besides, Not many players can be rude and say mean things lol i mean how many coaches were talked bad about?

Gauthier and Kakko were pretty vocal about Quinn during his tenure.

I won't discount that, but my understanding is unique upper management situations w last 2 - Fla had front office changes just before their bizarre firing treatment, and supposedly McPhee was just thunderstruck by DeBoer's availability.
And neither of those changes went great for either
