January, 29th, Torpedo vs. Spartak, hopefully Khabibulin vs. Kovalchuk.Don't care about the context. Dont care about the History. Dont care about the politics.
Can I watch the Bulin Wall or not ?!

haha! that would be an absolutely amazing blast of nostalgia.January, 29th, Torpedo vs. Spartak, hopefully Khabibulin vs. Kovalchuk.
But I did add the context on the first page.
Such as?This and the Kovalchuk deal are honestly just examples of how the quality of the KHL has deteriorated do much the last couple of years.
There's a number of leagues that are simply better at this point.
Was Fetisov playing at even older age back in 2009/10 season also a sign of deteriorating quality? This and the Kovalchuk deal are honestly just examples of how the quality of the KHL has deteriorated do much the last couple of years.

Habib-ullah, beloved of God (in reference to Prophet Muhammad). He got it with his right Khabi! Or was it his left Bulin!!
Didn't Torpedo GM say that Khabibullin deserved 'a beautiful career finale' in autumn? Anyway, I don't get it.
A comparison to Kovalchuk isn't exactly fair: a goaltender can't exactly get sheltered minutes, and Kovy is an incredible athlete just 2 seasons removed from winning a Gagarin cup (in a limited role, but still).
I hope old man plays a couple games, gets lit up and curbs that trend of former greats trying to play in the K.
Savvy move.Apparently the main reasoning for the signing wasn't about having him play, but more about Torpedo wanting to reach the KHL salary floor by adding Khabibulin's coaching salary to the player salary budget.
