Player Discussion Nikita Zadorov

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

imagine him in the playoffs?

:fence:
I understand that East Coast fans aren't watching the Canucks in the playoffs at 2am, but as a BC (Can) boy, I can tell you he was an absolute playoff stud.

Zadorov led all skaters with 22:48 minutes against the Panthers, he had 1 assist, was plus 1, and threw 4 monster hits (did he injure someone?).

It's July 2024. You grab your computer and protest the contract that ends up being one of THE favorite Bruins for the next few years.

Mistakes were made!

Really big moment for the team that goes well beyond the 2 points last night. For the second game in a row you beat a team you have no business beating, on a 3rd period comeback no less, and embarrass the guy and team that has humiliated you two years in a row. Loudest the garden has been all year.

Even after half the team was traded for futures they've fought like hell and showed they want to be here. Give me that any day over watching a team that's quit for a pick better by 2-5 selections. I don't expect them to make the playoffs let alone make any noise but this is a new team and they've started on a hell of a note. Play until the season's over, regardless of if that's the regular season or playoffs, and the people who prove they want to be here will be rewarded. Zaddy is absolutely leading the charge.

I really like how Zaddy has played of late. I loved him beating Bennett. Grabbing Pasta was so pathetic.

I wasn't a fan of the move at the time it was made, and I still don't like it. But I WILL say that Zadorov clearly shows he cares about this team and takes pride in wearing the spoked B. He's gotten better as the season's progressed and he's emerging as a leader on this team.

That's good enough for me.

They didn't sign him to be their #1 defenseman but he is right now and he's carrying the weight while still playing his game. Don't see how anyone can really complain about his dollars this season.
Yeah, that's one of the things that has impressed me. He's moved up and been a horse for us because of the injuries. He's not the long term solution as our top pair D, but its been a nice surprise to see him holding his own in that role.

Since the "big fight' with Sam Bennett, the Bruins are 0-5-1 giving up 30 goals in the process.

Thank goodness for Zadorov stepping up there. Really rallied the troops. True leadership from the Russian turnover machine.

He’s a +14 on a team that’s minus a million (nobody even within sniffing distance of him), while being an absolute beauty of a physical presence.

I don’t think there’s an argument to be made that he’s been bad. He takes some stupid penalties but that’s really the only thing I can find issue with, and I don’t really care because I know that’s what comes with the territory of having a brute on your team.

Facts are facts. Since the fight, those are the stats. I thought that fight was supposed to be some sort of rallying point for the group. I guess not.
Wow you are serious?

Dude is their #4/5 defenseman playing as their #1 and he's leading the roster with a -1 over this losing streak (Lorhei is -12).

If anything they should consider him for the captaincy next year for how he's handled himself this season.

Oh wait- are you just pissed he almost insulted Swayman for his clown show before giving up 4 more goals?
