Hot take, but I truly believe this. When Kucherov is on, he's the best player in the league. This isn't a surprise to me.

Seriously though, great player easily one of the best 3-5 or so in the world. This year it seems like he's forgotten a bit behind his injury / coming out of Matthews. Looking fwd to seeing what he does in the playoffs

Tbh I feel that he is still underrated (of course he has great team, but still). This season is super rich in goals for the whole league and still no-one is likely getting 128 points that Kucherov had couple seasons ago.

When McDavid or Matthews are able to approach his playoffs success and his 128 pts in a season, then we'll talk.

Btw- 66 pts in 45 games so far, would be good for 120 pts over a full season.

But in particular, the hit on Nutivaara a few years back stands out as one of the scummier moves I've seen a guy pull. Some worse luck there when a guy's neck is level with the top of the dasher and you're looking at another Bertuzzi-type incident.

Not a great hit. Quite dumb. But not something I'd call the scummiest move I've seen or potentially Bertuzzi esque.
