It really isn’t. There is a solid conversation to be had for multiple people, no clear cut winner at this point.Hart is Drai`s to lose still.
If he comes back tonight and is as good as before then I still think he wins and deserves so...but if he can't come back to his pre injury form there are lots of options from Kuch to Helle to Makar. It really isn’t. Hellebuyck, Makar, Kucherov, MacKinnon, Draisaitl. It’s still a race down to the finish with no clear cut winner currentlyIf he comes back tonight and is as good as before then I still think he wins and deserves so...but if he can't come back to his pre injury form there are lots of options from Kuch to Helle to Makar.
Yeah we will see...before injury it wasn't but now maybe you are right...could all change real quick when someone catches fire or gets cold.Hellebuyck, Makar, Kucherov, MacKinnon, Draisaitl. It’s still a race down to the finish with no clear cut winner currently
Even before he for hurt it was still a tight race, some really good hart conversations this year.Yeah we will see...before injury it wasn't but now maybe you are right...could all change real quick when someone catches fire or gets cold.
No, Drai was leading in lots of major stats especially all goal related stats by a landslide and 5v5 and +/- and advanced stats.Even before he for hurt it was still a tight race, some really good hart conversations this year.
Hart is Drai`s to lose still.
Which helps his case as one do the players in the running, but not a clear winner. No, Drai was leading in lots of major stats especially all goal related stats by a landslide and 5v5 and +/- and advanced stats.
Yes that's unfortunately true...we will see if he comes back with 100%...if not it will be hard for him to sweep them all...but as stades of he wasn't injured he was the clear cut favorite. He lost the lead the moment he got injured. He needs a colossal game in his return tonight to reinsert himself in the discussion for the top spot. Something absurd like 3-4 goals and 5-6 points in a convincing Oilers win to even have a chance.
It’s a shame, but his exit was simply too ill-timed and almost certainly took him from a possible awards sweep to just the Rocket.
Sounds fair.Which helps his case as one do the players in the running, but not a clear winner.
MacK -13Too many empty net points.
He’s only missed 4 games, so if the conversation is he lost it due to that. Then it just shows how close the race is. He hasn’t missed significant time to say injuries lost him the trophySounds fair.
The problem is voters seems to only look at the top point scorers without digging deep into it...he was 2 points back with a game in hand. He’s only missed 4 games, so if the conversation is he lost it due to that. Then it just shows how close the race is. He hasn’t missed significant time to say injuries lost him the trophy
Fake news.MacK -13
Kuch - 10
He missed 4 games i think. So they have 9 games left, soon 8 for Mack, i could be wrong, its info from on top of my head.Does he not have a few games in hand as well ?
Kucherov up by a point, despite not taking the EN shot earlier on that almost cost Tampa the game
He's been the best player in the world for two straight years now with McJesus in his prime. Whether that speaks more for Kuch or more against McDavid is up to anyone's opinion. He is on fire, when he is feeling it there is no doubt that he is the best player in the world.
LMFAO
It's weird that - maybe not on HF but hockey media as a whole - it kind of feels like Kucherov is still really underrated. And i think a large part of it is he wasn't a top 5 pick despite everything since.
