I just want to point out that Habs posters are cheats and liars because many of them voted for Demidov but not choose the 'Habs fan voting' option. Rigged election in this day and age is unbelievable.

The only one who said that was MSL and the players, already a quarter into the season. They got laughed at and ridiculed by fans and media around the NHL. Now they're essentially a lock.

To be fair, everywhere you look they were projected to finish bottom 5.

On here, on reddit, NHL.com, TSN, RDS, and on and on.

The first time you heard the word "mix", was from St.Louis and cie.

Then the players.

Not a single Habs fan started the whole we will be in the mix. It was laughable too when you saw how bad they were playing the system and missing everytime they had to be on man to man coverage.

They are just underrated by people on here, its been like that for years. Not a single Habs player on this roster wasn't or isn't being underrated by the 31 other fanbase.

Put Suzuki on Boston and Caufield in Philly and they are way highly regarded.

Habs fan for Demidov, but my vote is entirely predicated on the fact the season is long and I like to be entertained by goals and scoring chances.
I suspect a lot of people, maybe smarter people, would prefer building around the large, well-rounded, aggressive, captain 1D, especially in consideration of playoff hockey.
I would also note I don't think the book is closed on Demidov as a centre either. Or maybe that's wishful, magical thinking.

Both are prospects only, Russian to boot which at times have a hard time moving to the NA game & culture so Im not over hyping either. I’ll just wait and see how both do before being excited about either TBH. That being said I like Demidov more.

Never said he would be as good as those guys. But he shares the traits that made all those guys special, namely anticipation and spatial awareness. There is a massive difference between comparing traits and saying Michkov will be as good as Gretzky.

And yeah, I did compare Michkov’s rookie season to Ryder’s. Wanna know why? Ryder’s rookie season points total would be equivalent to roughly 73 points this year. Michkov is not going to reach it. I pointed that out because I found it hilarious with all the hype he’s been getting. Case in point, your posts lmao
