yes to both....the Sea Wolves have always played in Biloxi
Figured it was Biloxi. That's been the most consistently-successful venue for hockey in Mississippi over the years. That being the case, it sounds like the FPHL is on its way to recreating the ECHL's old I-10 corridor division. In which case, @sneakytitz's suggestion of trying to get into Lafayette again would seem to be a sound idea.

Bossier is a likely no should the league/prospective ownership attempt that.

Believe it or not, there was once a time in the late 1990s that grassroots hockey programs were growing in Louisiana, thanks in no small part due to the team that started it all down there, the ECHL's Louisiana IceGators in Lafayette.
...

Obviously, things fell apart, but I think there are enough folks still around who remember that time and who still support junior programs in Lafayette and Shreveport/Bossier City metro to make a successful return of minor league teams possible.
I think it was post-Katrina, when you're rebuilding a whole region, the hockey rinks are going to be low priority items.

This is a total aside, but the name Baton Rouge Zydeco is an amazing minor league hockey name (same league as the Monroe Moccasins).

Monroe Moccasins is fine - named after the snake. But it would be 20x better if instead of going with a snake logo, they went with a first nations footwear logo together with the same name.

Well here is a sight that may not be seen again but, finally Hockey in a form most unexpected has returned to New Orleans!

I wonder if any New Orleans Brass alumni are interested in a game of street shinny against Louisiana IceGators or Baton Rouge Kingfish alumni. :D :fight:🏒❄️🌨️

On a related note, I guess the IceGators' former home in Lafayette really IS the "frozen swamp" now. ❄️🌨️🐊
