Player Discussion Nick Suzuki Part 11

Some have more goals, some have more assists, but only 3 have more of each, is how I understand it.
Yeah but given a couple players have the same number of goals and more assists it's definitely misleading. Which is a shame because there's no need to be misleading, Nick is a stud and the numbers show it.

I remember the Avs broadcasters talking about Suzuki last year, saying he could be a 90-100 point guy with more support.

Nick had an awesome second half and really stepped up. Mr Clutch. Definitely the Habs’ MVP.
Was always obvious to me.

Not sure what people were expecting Suzuki to do 2-3 years ago when he was putting up 40-60pts with the type of talent we have.

Since then, the talent base on this team has increased and so has his production.

He's still got another level IMO.

His stats page is nice to see. He just gets better every year. If this is his peak, that's fine, we've got a fantastic player that's exceeded all expectations.
66-77-89 It's hard to think he's hit his ceiling yet. I called 88 points this season for obvious reasons I was hoping for PPG at the minimum.
I think what has impressed me most is the responsible play that goes along with those totals +19 on a team with a -20 goal differential.
His clutch play when we needed it most proves what I've always thought. Suzuki just needs something to play for.
But even more impressive is the 33 goal swing from the previous years.

30 years ago, those guys played in a higher scoring era.............Nick Suzuki is a #1 C and the haters are going to have to deal with it.

There are exactly 32 #1 c’s in the league, every team has a center with more icetime than the others.

Suzuki is hab#1C
He also happens to be #5 in scoring among nhl centers and is a total 200ft stud.

Keep surrounding this guy with talent and win.
