He might just be gassed. I think the whole team is. He's been missing in action the past couple of games. But at least he can say he stepped up since 4 Nations. He and Hutson really carried the team down the stretch. Disappointed in Caufield. Great first half and played well after 4 Nations but then tapered off. We really need him to step up.Is he playing injured?
Yeah, he didn’t look right after that. That open ice hit that Suzuki took on Chiarot concussed him - I'm pretty sure about it. He tried to play through it, but he hasn't been the same since. Hopefully, that board hit he took late in the 3rd yesterday didn't make things worse. He looked really off the shifts he played after that.
Again - if he was concussed, he wouldn't be playing. He wouldn't be allowed to.That open ice hit that Suzuki took on Chiarot concussed him - I'm pretty sure about it. It wouldn't be his choice.the ironman thing means a lot to suzi
It wouldn't be his choice.
This is a bit out of date but I can't think it's changed much.

Didn't leave the bench IIRC.That assumes the team even screened him for a concussion. Do you remember him going to the quiet room after he got plowed head first into the boards? I sure don't.
You assume that he willingly disclosed that. I knew the next shift that he was concussed. The way he got up & the way he acted the rest of the game show multiple signs of a concussed player that kept playing. He avoided contacts and played in a way to protect himself since.Again - if he was concussed, he wouldn't be playing. He wouldn't be allowed to.

If there was risk of concussion, I'd be surprised if the team didn't examine him. That assumes the team even screened him for a concussion. Do you remember him going to the quiet room after he got plowed head first into the boards? I sure don't.
He's tired, possibly hurting. Played nearly 27min last game.Kids a beast , really rough past two games for him. At least Demidov can help him a bit.
Need somebody to step up badly and it's gotta be Caufield or Laine , you'd think somebody would help the poor captain out , literally dragged them to this position with Hutson
Compares a bit with the Damphousse season when he was 20 pts ahead of Bellows, and 20th in the league.6th in the league for PPG over the 2nd place scorer on respective teams.
8th for raw totals.
This is one of the best offensive season for a Habs player since Lafleur. In recent memory theres Koivus 03 season that ranks high %/numbers wise but he wasnt as high league wide.
Only a .15 difference in PPG though, Nick is .23 ahead of Cole.Compares a bit with the Damphousse season when he was 20 pts ahead of Bellows, and 20th in the league.
His 91 points roughly 84 for today’s equivalent.
He had some memorable goals down the stretch. That crazy game tying/winning OT goals from a couple of weeks ago was amazing. But tonight's goal was our biggest goal of the year. That turned everything around. Massive goal. Not sure if he's hurt but he's been off the past few games. Not a great game overall but he scored the most clutch goal of the season. He was damn impressive down the stretch. Absolutely amazing.
