Wrong. Holland offered. Again, when you get something and it costs you nothing, that thing is FREE.
Not free. There had to be some kind of exchange. Perhaps adding a year on to a contract. Something minimal for a 6th.

Tell leaf’s fans Dubas didn’t want to lift his finger for a free asset. They wouldn’t like it. Actually most don’t. A free 6th was denied out of spite.
To add the year and reduce the cap, a 6th wasn't enough. There was nothing free. Teams pay picks often at the trade deadline for third team to perform a similar service. As they say in economics: TANSTAAFL

To add the year and reduce the cap, it would have cost Dubas nothing. 3rd party teams exchange Cap Space (asset) for draft picks(asset). Dubas would have exchanged nothing, for something. Dubas screwed the Leaf’s here. One part of why he was canned. But we can agree to disagree, again.

We have to agree on that.

Pretty sure this is his second trade request. He had his opportunity last year. There’s some talent there for sure. He just plays a game above what his size is and he’s frequently injured every time he catches some steam. Was always a project, didn’t work out here

Small, soft and made out of glass. Bye!

Any pick 5th round or higher as a return is a steal.

He's Jeff Skinner lite. Can score some goals, but is bad at everything else.

He is good secondary scorer for bottom feeder team. But in serious playoff team he can't play.

I'd argue he's even less valuable to the Leafs now that he's no longer waiver exempt. Some people are way too attached to these marginal players.

If he breaks out with anther team, good for him. It doesn't mean it would have happened if he stayed with Toronto.

But I'm not terribly big on keeping players who don't want to be there.

Move him out and move on.

Don’t blame him because he hasn’t been used in a way that would give him a path to be successful.

Being scratched constantly for worse players and being used in the bottom 6 although he’s bad defensively and small.. Robertson is a guy you want playing 2nd line with stronger players around him to cover for his weaknesses and some PP time.

Didn’t get those here
Repeatedly not producing when given the opportunity will do that.

He just does nothing, very sporadic offense, no defense, no grit.
