also, Im not trying to knock on DD because I think hes the Kings best/most important player, but I get the feeling that he holds back a lot on the offensive side of things during the regular season. come playoff time or Olympic time, hes tiers above his regular season self.

Well he has a higher point per game average in the playoffs and Olympics.

Also not knocking your organization, just the way he's been at All star games during the draft (blood shot eyes = probably drunk) - just worried about substance abuse or he's not taking things as serious as he should on a day to day basis. Definitely a guy you want when the chips are down and he's mighty talented. I guess I am just gonna be cheesed if he doesn't win a Norris ala Weber

I get it--but I think you would have had a harder time finding a sober guy at the all star draft

Reportedly he was in insane shape coming in this year and it shows so far. I think we all just wish his regular season production matched the eye test.

Yeah I don't think knocking a guy for being drunk at the all-star draft is a legitimate thing. Did you see Ovie?
