Think about the ridiculousness of this statement:
“…we just want the IceDogs to be the premier organization in the OHL. Michelle and I are committed to make sure that we are number one.”


In three seasons, DD has driven this franchise to rock bottom embarrassment and he truly believes he can take this franchise to number one and surpass every team including London to become the OHL’s premier organization (on a shoestring budget).

Something seriously wrong with him.

You talk about DD and his dislike of drafting import players. You need to do your history. He is not the first owner to do that. The first owner is one of Mississauga's greatest treasures. Born and bred, a true Canadian with limestone in his blood.

I think it will happen quickly as well. The league doesn’t like announcements during the Memorial Cup. (Not sure why Barrie was able to)

Marek sent out a tweet last week, expect Frank Evola to be announced as IcDogs GM.

The Cup is over, the cat is out of the bag. No reason to wait now.

This changes nothing. DD’s suspension is officially over today; didn’t obey the restrictions placed on him for two years, allowed the players to make a mockery of this franchise on and off the ice, was investigated twice this year; instructed to hire someone other than a realtor to put heavy financial restrictions on as his punishment. As long as DD is controlling the money coming in and out, this is so stupid or if you prefer lipstick on a pig. So this will be three years removed as a STH and I’ll never return.

Still waiting for Crawford to tell us what the fk is going on in Niagara!

Simpson is not leaving the GM position that Hunters have told him he is getting
Would you leave Winsor as head scout to come to Niagara
Woud you leave an organization that has a new owner who is sinking a ton of dollars into the team as a coach


Let's hope Evola has a coach in mind and will announce him soon.

Let's also hope Evola has gotten the promises to let him run the team by DD and can convince players to stay.

I really don't think Evola would have taken the job unless he was given carte Blanche to run the team as he sees fit, and for DD to sit back and count the nickels.

I renewed and will continue to renew more so out of fear of possibly losing my spot since it’s a great spot
