Well I don’t remember those names but based on the fact they’re younger guys DD went for the cheap option so nothing will change glad the league stepped in and helped with nothing

So, if they’re going with a cheap inexperienced GM. The league either isn’t serious about changing things or they’re not running the organization as has been said.

Don't know who you've mentioned before but if we're throwing out names, Brian Prout? Saginaw just had an assistant coach leave and he seemed like someone that was meant to take over for Laz eventually. Prout seemes like the guy to take over for Drinkell if he ever took a pro job. Maybe Laz and Drinkell don't feel like moving on and the other guys get tired of waiting? Idk. Just spitballing.

DD wouldn’t want to pay an average GM salary. He likes to keep the salaries low. So hiring an assistant GM makes sense for DD since a new GM would have a lower salary.

In the OHL/CHL what even is an average salary for coaches/GM? @OHL4Life ?

If we have to trade Edgar I do not want it to be with London. They always have low picks.

The picks are usually not even from the team they're getting them from.

Except that, whenever DD is getting spanked by the Hunters in a trade, Mark manages to pawn off London`s picks and keeps the other team`s picks for themselves. It`s such an embarrassement everytime DD trades with London.

• 2nd Round Pick in 2025 (London)

• 3rd Round Pick in 2023 (North Bay)

FYI. It took Mark Hunter exactly 13 months to recoup ALL those picks back (of higher value too) and the IceDogs have nothing to show from that deal.

depends on experience.

top end gms 250, lower end 180 or so maybe.

-i dont know if anyone on the market today would be worth 250k. the one name attached in the media that was never going to get the job would have wanted 250k, but he wasnt even a candidate outside of him saying he was. im sure hes telling everyone he declined due to pay but end of the day would never have passed the league vetting.

coaches, lower end 90 maybe, top end 150? low end doesnt mean a bad coach, just means that they are unproven. lots of good coaches in the league probably make under 100k right now because they are new.
