I guess they are taking the position that there wasn’t enough oversight from team management which led to the players getting out of control. I don’t like that take as I think even at 16 years old, you should know how to act. I don’t think the players should be given a free pass on this but it looks like that is what they got.

How about this take…the trainer and ac’s took the issues to management who buried them. Who are no longer with the team…the trainer and ac’s. Not DD, not WC, no players. Go figure. What’s the OHL saying. Not a thing.
 
Question…what league can you rub your genitalia against a staff member and not be suspended?
Answer…the OHL apparently.

I agree the players should be suspended. But as for the owner, I am not sure how you force him to sell. I think the best the league could do is ban him from being involved in the day to day operations and hope he sells at some point.

I had heard that very take. With the announcement from the team and not the league I am suspecting retribution from DD against BB. This type of firing usually results in a hefty settlement.
 
You guys have lost the plot. DD, WC AND BB were all found to have failed to act appropriately on information and complaints brought to them by team members. The investigation found several instances. DD and WC were removed from their positions of day to day control by the OHL and BB was relieved of his duties as head coach. The ac's contracts were not renewed to allow a new GM to place his own people in those positions but the ac's were informed by the OHL they were found blameless in the investigation and they were free to reapply for their positions should they choose. The latter points were not provided in the teams press release. The OHL could clear up a lot of this by being transparent about the findings of the investigation not only of management and coaches but also player findings.

I’ve been saying that for days and you guys keep pushing back against me.

Bb was responsible for 3 incidents on his own that should have resulted with at fault firing nothing to do with hockey

Just asking where that's been posted? If BB is responsible for three incidents or one or a million - where has that been reported?

They ALL deserve the opportunity to 'demand' a trade. That might send a message to 3D which is better than the loss of the many STHs which has happened in the last 3 years.

it has not been. Who is reporting anything here? I’ve posted a ton of trades before it happened and draft picks before they happen.

I’m saying the same people who told me all those things are telling me that BB is responsible for 3 significant issue that each coimd have resulted in a firing. They have always been right. I’m not burning them by posting specifics.

You can trust my info or not, but it’s true.

Why does everyone believe bb is squeaky clean in this?

For what it’s worth I think that the employees no longer on the team after interactions with BB pushed them out for a few reasons have a better civil case against him then he has against the team/league.

So who makes the call on spending? We know 3D is a miser & if the league is 'running the business', who's money is funding things 'day to day'?

@OHL4Life I wasn't calling your track record into question, just clarifying that nothing had been released by the OHL about BB. I appreciate many of us have inside sources.

I'm curious that they can mandate he spend or he is out but he can snub his nose at a previous sanction with impunity. You'd think the OHL would have had enough of him watering down their brand. Guess sub-2000 is the next bench mark.

BB is owed the full term of his contract.
He was fired not terminated I was told.
DD is on the hook for the full amount as long as BB is home on the couch!
What usually happens is the coach will request to get out of it to take another coaching job and then DD doesn’t have to pay it.
