Ok, That was the first year I started going to games. I was a little bit late jumping on the bandwagon than some of you.

Decent crowd for tonight. Looks like a lot of group sales happened. Tonight's crowd might be be bigger than tomorrow night.

I agree that it probably won’t matter but that being said I think 6th would give them a better shot at a surprise (if 3 is Kingston) as for the draft pick does it really matter? How big of a difference is it from the kids in the 8-12 range

To get to 6 we absolutely needed to beat Ottawa. So I have given up on that dream.
Poor Loshko. That guy could not get even the tiniest bit of luck last night. He put in a good effort though. Flores played well.
I did not enjoy that game last night. Hope that tonight is more fun.
Looking at the standings. Kingston is still a good possibility. I prefer that matchup,

Hang on here. I just looked at the OHL website and how the determine the playoff seeding.

Actually, you're correct. It won’t matter where we draft because if DD is still here, agents of the top players are not sending their clients to Niagara. I have good reason to believe (but not confirmed) that DD has severely severed his relationship with his primary (and secondary) source of ohl talent.
Niagara is on track to play Barrie in the first round as it stands today, and unless the icedogs move up to 6th they will be facing Barrie who is locked in 2nd place. One of Kingston or Brantford will win the conference, the other will get 3rd place. Oshawa vs Brampton is also locked down now.
I can confirm that at least one agency has instructed their represented players to not accept interview requests from the IceDogs and to not report, if drafted by the IceDogs. It also appears, although not confirmed, that this summer will see significant player trades including many of what people consider to be our best players.

Latest email another indication of the financial state of our IceDogs’? Attended many of these away bus playoff games and only paid for my ticket; the bus cost was subsidized by the IceDogs. A $100.00 dollars for a single playoff game a little expensive?

Two separate ownership groups interested in the IceDogs. Asking price from DD is ridiculously high.

My question is would players minds change IF the league took over the team (which IMO is the minimum acceptable outcome of this investigation) if it’s just another suspension the league has failed this fan base for a third time IMO
Nothing is going to happen regarding a sale, suspension or fine before the draft so it will be interesting to see who they draft and what the result will be
DD mismanagement of our draft assets has already left us without a 2nd round 2009, so it would be in our franchise best interest to draft the best player available, declare him defective, collect the draft picks and compensatory 2010 1st. It would give a potential new owner an opportunity to prepare for the 2026 OHL draft with two 1st round picks and a surplus of draft picks.
Idiot sticks only goal should be to stockpile draft picks to raise the value before selling. That starts with drafting a non-reporter.
You’re assuming idiot stick even has the ability to stockpile picks which given his history I wouldn’t count on also not sure that would even help get the value anywhere close to his ask
