Despite being on the lineup sent out by the team pregame it looks like the captain isn’t playing
The team plays like it did against London and then like this against North Bay and Sudbury and all this after a 12 game losing streak...there is something going on with this organization! Like they say a fish rots from the HEAD down.
North Bay shades the Icedogs 4 to 3 n two third period goals by former Icedogs players Leblanc and Wigle before 2,600 plus in North Bay. Next game Sunday afternoon at home against Kingston hopefully He is back.
They actually didn’t play that bad plus playing two desperate hockey teams.
They played well enough in both games just dumb penalties costing them along with missing He last night and another whiff of a goal on Humphries part (which in one goal games is HUGE)
IceDogs now in 7th place. What a fall from when they led the conference. Does anyone know their record in 2025. It can’t be good.
Those stats align with Darren Dedobbalears' recent track record as an owner/GM of junior hockey teams.

Niagara IceDogs fans would hope that even DD, who called himself “a hockey guy”, would realize that he’s most likely the reason for these unsuccessful franchises.

Haven’t seen anything recently but coach said a few weeks ago hopefully mid march before playoffs which would probably put him around next weekend
Kingston shaded the Icedogs 4 to 3 in overtime Willis tge game winning goal .Paris scored the tie goal for the Dogs with seventeen seconds to go in period three. VanFleet scored a penalty shot goal for the Dogs too. 4,010 fans watched the game at the Meridian Centre. Next game Tuesday night at home against Barrie.

Well, we clinched a playoff spot for the first time in 5 years.
That is great for the kids. I'm glad they made the playoffs and hope they do well
1-15 in their last 16 doesn't look like a path to success. Maybe they are sucking the top two teams into a false sense of security. #SELLTHETEAM #THE FISH ROTS FROM THE HEAD DOWN
Missing your #1 for some of those games definitely contributed to the 15 speaking of Flores I wonder if we even see him before the playoffs now that they’ve clinched
We had injuries during some of that time at one point the entire third line then our two goalies got hurt Flores should be back just have to stay healthy.

If the season ended today they’d have 8th pick I believe (that’s without considering who has extra first from defected players)
