Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. The admin team will continue to work on existing issues, templates and upgrade all necessary available addons to minimize impact of this new version. Click Here for Updates

...yes, of course they are both back, but the suggesting being, if they are unable to upgrade the roster (and we'll get our answer after CHL Import draft), they will need to trade one or both next year, if they feel RR won't be back in 26-27, to improve on their tradeable draft assets, which looks like this right now:

...and make it look more like it did at the end of the 23-24 season:

If the team chooses to, it can return 20 of the 25 players rostered this season for the 2025-26 season and still have two openings for imports. And if the team chooses to add some pieces, it will have pretty good collection of picks at their disposal.

lol. You do seem pretty ignorant. lol. So I am not really surprised that you did not notice all the 5-10 picks added to trades for volume this year. With the NCAA changes, a lot more US born and prep school players should be expected to be selected in the OHL priority draft. That could mean previous gems found in round 6 like K.Smith and Brauti might fall to rounds 7-10.

Winter storm hitting tomorrow. IceDogs have any plans to head up today so they can play Erie while Schaefer is still out?
Postponement seems inevitable. I was just hoping otherwise. I enjoy watching mid-week IceDog games.
For a team that has missed the playoffs for 4 straight seasons, they should be well stocked with extra second, third and fourth round picks.
As for next season, I see them being good but not challenging for a championship. They will likely only have 2 NHL draftees and only four 19 year olds on the roster. Teams that win championships are usually full of 19 year olds and have a number of NHL draft picks.
Given DD’s poor track record of drafting imports and US players, I am not counting on these two avenues to help fill in the gaps.
