Brampton has more offensive potential (more good 18 yr olds) than Kingston, but Brampton forwards are poor defensively, and has a 17 yr old goalie without a strong BUG. That has and will keep that team from to the top of the standings until addressed.
Be interesting to see what they do I always thought that would be a good spot for Flores if he was moved over Bryant wonder if it still happens though

…that is some generalization by you. So you’re saying that the other four teams’ F are all collectively and significantly stronger defensively than Brampton Fs?

Yes. Brampton looks like a smaller version of the 2023-24 wolves. Barrie and Oshawa have some outstanding 2-way forwards between them.

Was thinking Sztuska myself.

I personally have not see any of those teams enough (nor live more than once) to put myself out there with that strong a statement.
Have you seen them enough to make that kind of definitive a call?

Just did a quick check. 6 of their top F; all their D are 6.00 or taller

I’d swap Kingston with BRAM IMO steelheads roster is too good they have to figure it out eventually unless they turnaround and decided to sell
Yeah if Brampton wants to be good this year, they will be. They have a million picks and already the top end talent. I'm just not sure anymore if they'll add at the deadline. Could make more sense for them to trade Rehkopf for a ton and go for it next year. They really don't lose anyone after this year but the OAs and Zidlicky and would have 3 really good OAs in MacDonell, Harding and Misa as none of them are signed right now

Just did a quick check using that elite prospect team comparison you referenced earlier; Brampton & Niagara are the two shortest OHL teams.
Brampton can certainly be a top team in the conference if they address their deficiencies; easier said than done though.

Martone if drafted by the right team I could see him in the NHL next year

Compared to Matthew and Brady Tkachuk and both guys made it straight to the NHL out of their draft years as 6th and 4th overall picks respectively. I’ve seen martone consistently ranked 2-4 with one placing him at 1 and one placing him #5

Would be pretty risky for Brampton next year especially with the NCAA thing coming into place I could see him jumping ship if not in the NHL. Who would want to play in Brampton?
