No, no, no, no no! You just don't understand the players. They believe they are the product, until you want to start talking about its' lagging popularity and its inability to sell. Then the product becomes the league and all the problems are the league's fault. This is why I am so pro-owner. The players want everything their way and refuse to accept any responsibility, any accountability, and any risk. They want to make the lion's share of all money, yet they do nothing except play the game. If they would take a more active role in the game itself, instead of becoming a money pit, I would be more sympathetic to their cause. But when they refuse to accept any responsibility, any accountability, or any risk associated with the business of the game, well they are nothing but employees and deserve to be treated as such. The players will get what they deserve. A paycheck in line with what other leagues are willing to play.
