If you think for one second the NHL PR dept doesn’t bet on this being a national draw then you’re sadly mistaken. Why else have it at these landmark locations??Its a sad attempt at attracting new fans while failing miserably short by offering up college level hockey talent.

It's for local fans, sponsors, and businesses and has been incredibly successful in bringing a unique and fun event for them to attend and spend their money at.
