What This Means for You:
Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.
In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord ServerI'd love it, but we don't support hockey here much with shifting demographics. Though certainly based on just geography and population Brampton /Mississauga make sense as a location for Toronto #2. That includes highway access as well. Brampton really lacks a central social hub and any arena project would require a massive swatch of land to be developed from scratch. But there are some key spots where that land exists still.
I want to make a joke but I don’t want an infractionSurprised Brampton Ontario isn't in the mix
Theyre going to feel as meaningful as an ea simulation. Yeah I’m not happy about this.Yes! Can't wait until teams play each other twice, maybe 3 times where the games suck, animosity is non-existent and people just look like they're there to cash a nice pay cheque.
Well, I guess it works for Basketball.
We don’t need more talent dilution…
And I’m sure they’ll put aside their greed at 36 teams. f***ing jokeGreedy NHLoL doing the greedy NHLoL thing to do.
The league is watered down as it is, and hockey in some of these cities, especially in Atlanta and Phoenix again is pure greed.
And that's where Gary Bettman came from: The NbA. The $$$ formula worked to make tons of it so why not ruin the NHLoL?!Yes! Can't wait until teams play each other twice, maybe 3 times where the games suck, animosity is non-existent and people just look like they're there to cash a nice pay cheque.

0 reason why Toronto should not have a 2nd team.
36 teams.. many, many fans will never see their team win a title in their lifetime.
No stopping it though. 50 teams by 2060
By whom?
Hockey is a beautiful sport that Americans love when they get the chance to be exposed to it. Expansion is the way the NHL can foster an even greater spirit of hockey in impressionable sports-loving yout$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Surprised Brampton Ontario isn't in the mix
San Diego has had a little trouble keeping teams (Chargers, Clippers). It's too nice outside - why watch sports. The first three have been telegraphed quite clearly. It'll be Atlanta, Houston, and Phoenix.
I don't think folks are talking about San Diego though. Similar population to the Tampa/St.Pete metro and another sunbelt city. The new arena that they build there is going to be tempting.
