I don't think Pierre Turgeon ever had a fight in his hockey career.

Barkov 875 total career games over 12 years, and I'm pretty sure he's never been in a fight.
But I'm sure there are plenty of stars under 30 that haven't fought.

I thought he got a five minute fighting major with either the blues or sabres? five for fighting ONCE. For those curious WHY Pierre was the first guy that came up, google punch up in Piestany. He reportedly either never left the bench or went to dressing room when all hell broke lose

In one of the new books I've read "When the lights go out" I think the name was, they talk about the 1987 WJC brawl in Piestany with Canada and Russia. A lot of guys on that team went on to be NHL players and pretty good ones too. Shanahan, Fleury, Keane, Sanipass, Turgeon, Waite, Wesley etc.. the Russians had Fedorov, Malakhov among others.

This book really rips into Turgeon though. Not to mention Steve Nemeth and Jimmy Waite. Nemeth only ever played 12 NHl games in his career and Waite was a sparingly used goalie in his NHL career. Turgeon of course has had a very good career but has...

Mike Bossy had one in his whole career for getting mugged by Behn Wilson as part of setting off this whole thing.



I don't think he threw a punch but they did go to commercial during this.

After a little checking: Kevin Fiala (651 games), Jeff Skinner (1078 games), and Alex Debrincat (614 games as a pro, had one in Cincinnati ) don't have any that I can find.

Not really a vet, but Pierre Engvall was getting chirped numerous times for being a giant wuss in mic’d up segments- if he’s ever fought I doubt it was willingly. Somethin about Pierres.

There's at least one other off-ice dustup that involved another NHL player but wasn't really a hockey fight at a bar one summer too. But in terms of penalized fights? None found.

So why isn't he in the HHOF? He was a big game player, 5 time all star, great leader as well.

1327 points
97 points in 109 playoff games including a game 7 winning goal in OT.

To me it is a no brainer, he is a hall of fame player. So why has he not been put in yet?

It was with Hrkac. See post above. Unfortunately the Youtube Nazis block out fight videos now but yeah, he fought and got hurt by a non-fighter. I doubt he fought after that.
