yonder.tv works well with nhl.tv and isn't expensive. Think it also works with NFL stuff, MLB, etc. they have instructions on how to setup most devices. I also learned from there that you can open a webpage in safari in "desktop mode" and by doing that on nhl.com you can stream from their website rather than the app and it doesn't do location service blocking (so a vpn or dns solution will work). NHL's streaming from their website has never been as good through the app though so that's annoying.
That all said I'd honestly be fine with giving the NHL the bit of extra money if they would give me a package with no blackouts and all playoff games. I'm just not gonna shell out another $100 a month or whatever for cable anymore when I don't watch anything on it

Recently bought a new LG Smart TV and I can’t seem to find the NHL.tv app. Anyone have one of these bad boys?
I bought an LG last month only to find out it doesn’t have most apps I want. I haven’t tried it out yet, but you may be able to watch through the Apple TV app which is on LG.

edit - the Apple TV app on the LG doesn’t have an App Store of its own. Lame.

Do any of you use gamecenter and cast from your phone to chormecast? I keep getting stuttering issues. We are terrific internet and I dont have the issue with anything else.

But tonight's game is on NHL Network, not NBCSN. So that's not a home team black out thing, No one's getting the Rangers game on Center Ice or NHL.TV.

Yeah I complained about the NHL Network thing, it's especially annoying because they just take a home town feed and rebroadcast it, it's not like it's even a completely different feed. They shouldn't black that out and it's annoying as hell.

Is that true though? NHLN doesn't get the broadcast rights like NBC does, they just simulcast like you mentioned. So you should not be blacked out of the Rangers on Gamecenter if you are out of market, if even the game is on NHLN.

But you will be blacked out of watching the game on NHL Network if you are in the Ranger market. That makes sense and is definitely true.

There never was a auto-renewal of any kind... i manually bought the $99.99 season package myself. Webiste and their agents are useless/non-existent.

Mine always renewed for NHL and MLB and have used it for about 3 years. This year I haven't been charged and am having issues with NHL.tv

Have too much going on to follow all this closely, but bumped this back up b'c this stuff is important.

Paying $65 for Fubo + $20 for wifi fi to get the stream is still too much.

Kudos to OP for starting the tread,
keep it comin....
