That motherf***ing f***ing NHL.tv app of theirs keeps logging me off, and it's impossible to log back in, and "reset password" generates a f***ing error, too !!!! On the web in desktop browsers, too!

So I can't even watch the motherf***ing Stanley Cup finals !!!!

You can always rely on these motehrf***ers to thoroughly f*** up everything totally, through and through, whenever it matters most!

Avoid this service like the pest!

Same here. Actually came here to see if others had problems too. I can no longer log in.

Even their f***ing chatbot is broken.

When I wanted to report the issue, the only two options the f***ing chatbot gave me were "Login" and "Change email address".

When I selected "Login", because that is the f***ing issue, the chatbot sent me on a loop, and 4 questions later, we were back right there at the beginning.

Only when I selected "Change email address" as the issue, although that is not the issue, then the f***ing chatbot promised that some live person from NHL.tv would get back to me via email. I'm waiting !!! :mad:

It's an outrage, to do this at the climax of the entire season. And when you click on "Resend password", the feedback is "This email address is not registered with us". Even though I've been getting spammed on a daily basis by them, especially from NHL Shop, using that same email address.

Login on the NHL.com website doesn't work, either.

The only place where my correct login data currently do work is their f***ing bracket challenge which is f***ing useless because I predicted Dallas to win it all, against Carolina in the final. :D

This is just unbelievable, I no longer have words for how much I hate this f***ing garbage.
Somebody has to lose their job over this.
The most important f***ing time of the season and they do this? They don't even recognize the email attached to my account, how the f*** am I supposed to fix this?

Just received an email from a live person from NHL.tv support, with profuse apologies, saying that the login issues should now be resolved.

But they are not. Still unable to log in on any device, any platform, including the desktop webpage.

Let's hope they get this sorted out before tomorrow's Game 2, at least. (I guess it's too much to hope for them to give us a discount for the stolen and lost Game 1.)

Yes, finally working here as well.

In another reply from NHL.tv support, they sent me a lengthy list of troubleshooting steps I was supposed to perform, to ensure the issue was not on my side.

I did nothing. I mean, it would be like hours of useless work.

I just waited. And now everything works again. Proving that the issue was fully on their side. Of course. (It was even generating red-lettered HTML code errors both in the app and on the desktop when unsuccessfully trying to log in or trying to have a password reset email sent to me.)

At least their support staff, once I got past the chatbot by feeding it lies, did their best to resolve this. They even sent me the direct link to the feed of Game 1 that we missed. But, you know, I typically don't watch/read whodunnits if I already know "who did it". Bobrovsky "did it" in Game 1, apparently. We'll just have to write this one off, hoping everything will be fine from now on. At this point, I'm just a neutral hockey fan, not a Panthers and definitely not an Oilers fan, as a Kings fan. :D

I'm giving some serious thought to not getting the NHL Package this year. I don't like ESPN+ and it doesn't seem like they want to make the user interface better, yet the costs are still going up. I can't filter out sports I don't want, more games will be blacked out (They should put NHL Network on ESPN+) and I'm not sure if I can justify the cost. I will keep saying it until someone can give me a good justification why I'm wrong. This "Deal" NHL signed with ESPN was awful and was basically a "screw you" to the consumer. People were happy to get the theme song back, but it's not even the same theme song. There is no 90s excitement for Hockey on ESPN. TNT does a better job and they just lost the NBA so who knows what the NHL package will be like. Not only that, but for the NHL to not provide the streaming platform for it's games and pass it over to Disney makes them look really cheap.

It was 25 years ago this month when I found out about NHL Center Ice via Digital Cable thru Time Warner.

I must’ve called the local franchise Special Programming rep several times to confirm the availability of this wonderful innovation that would allow me to watch each and every Detroit Red Wings game.

I've had the out of market pkg for over 20+ years as well but I'm probably taking a year off from it .

the nhl youtube channel posts the 8-12 minute individual game highlights and I have YT premium so its commercial free.

isles centric fan boards have game day threads so I'll know who's been playing bad / good lol

I just know when the season is almost here I will get that craving to get the package again despite my feelings about the deal and ESPN in general. I just wish the NHL would wake up to the realities of tv streaming and actually do something, especially with their channel, considering if there is a Saturday day game, it's more than likely on NHL Network. It seems like the NHL is asleep at the wheel and lagging behind, again.

The MLS took their entire package to Apple TV and I'm not sure how good of a deal that has been, but I wish the NHL would do something similar.

They have streaming, the problem is need to buy multiple services, it’s becoming worse than cable now.

I get that and it sucks. I wish I could have multi-view of apps but that is more of an Apple/Roku thing. I have a 62 in TV and I still need so many screens just to view things. I have the real-estate, let me use it.
 
received sub renewal notice from SN + and theres not even any mention of price .

it just states a minimum 40% cheaper versus purchasing monthly which works out to around 250$ , no mention of 50$ off like last year which made it come to 200$ + taxes .

Yeah , I got that renewal email . Obviously we should know the price soon .
 
My ESPN+ subscription price will increase to $109.99 + taxes on 1 Oct.

Got my renewal email the other day. Seems quite early this year, maybe it will work to start the season for once

And thinking about my ESPN+ subscription, they have scheduled the Sharks first game (And Macklin's first game) exclusively on ESPN+. Fans in the local markets really should get the game if the have a subscription or not.

I just thought I'd add to this by stating I dont have an issue with the SN+ app . My viewing habits have changed so my opinion is tainted . If you use the app regularly for the out of market pkg + jays etc its actually a really good deal .

Yes it is . I watch hockey every night . Well worth the money for me .
