Dregs On Sabres Live this morning:
- KA is grinding away on extending Zucker, there is trade interest as well.
- A lot teams valued Greenways skill set
- re: Cozens, Byram, Peterka, Tuch unless someone blows Adams socks off why would you trade those pieces. Doesn't get the sense they are close on moving any of those players. Change of scenery trades can help.
- Not seeing anything on Power (and Samuellsson) mentioned Brisson is the agent and he has not picked up on anything
- Implied some trades take months to materialize.
- Buffalo needs rostered players in return

Every time someone lays out this same list of things I so desperately want someone to follow up with…this f***ing loser doesn’t do the things needed in the offseason. Every year.

They missed the playoffs by a game on shooting percentages everyone knew wouldn’t repeat…and he added Clifton and Johnson and called it a year.

They regressed and he took zero big swings again.

They regressed again.

I don’t want to hear about WHEN the moves are made. I want to hear nothing but talk about how Adams has failed to make them when they are.

Don’t tell me what he has to do in the future when he refuses to do them ever

In fact…I’d rather Adams did trade Cozens and Byram and Samuelsson and Joker and Tuch and whoever else for futures at this moment.

Because then he’d be forced to do his f***ing job for the first time this summer or they can’t even ice a goddamned team that will fail either way

Preds vacuum up Vrana and Oesterle on waivers. I have no idea what Trotz is trying to do.

Also interesting to read various fans of the Preds railing on about how terrible Brunette is as a HC. Seems just yesterday we were told he was the reason NJ had a good year, not them getting average goaltending with a super talented lineup.

I hate Vegas so much for a multitude of reasons, but one of them is just the immense level of envy for how they run their organization. Reckless abandon towards futures assets, all-in every year.

They also willingly burn down the personal relationship side of things. There is a blogger out there (Vegas fan) who had a piece on all the times they just screwed someone on their own team which is why when they show up in the agent lists or player lists as not being a destination (and people claim to not know why), their past has just that... a past.

They are single-minded, for sure. With the trade of Brisson today, they have all of 1 player taken in the first round of the draft on their reserve list with Connelly from last year. If I was selected by them in the first round, I would enjoy dev camp in Henderson and expect to be somewhere else the next summer. :biglaugh:

Many think Eichel will go to FA (unless traded) and sign in Boston (or NYR) in 26'.
