You're missing the fact that we won't have to play against him in the post season now......all for the cost of a useless 6th round pick.

He was going to end up on somebody's playoff roster, so why not ours? That guy has been a thorn in our side for years. Better to have him on our roster than someone else's.

Yes but seeing it’s a conditional 6th my guess it’s conditional upon being available to play. By the time he come back salary isn’t a factor. Zero risk move.

The issue with modern-enforcers is they aren't taken seriously when they are ineffective players. Look at Reaves in Toronto, complete joke. Same reason Wilson is so effective.

Obviously a 6th rounder is nothing, the issue will be if he takes a better player out of the lineup in a crucial game (see last season).

I’m not defending the acquisition, and in my viewings I’d always considered him a dink. Guess our definitions of “slimeball” differ. I’d have to know someone personally to pull that out of my pocket insults.
