There are few enforcer types that I hate, because I respect the position and role.

If you’re not a super-dirty, cheap shot artist piece of garbage like a Chris Nilan…I can muster at least, begrudgingly, a bit of respect for you.

Maroon fits this category.

Hated him for TB, but I’d also probably hate Mrs. Romano, my favorite teacher growing up if she played for them.

Welcome aboard!

The whiny asshole who still wouldn’t accept Jack’s apology… at least he adds more grit and sandpaper. Or at least he did before his back surgery.

this is bottom of the barrel scraping. Picking up an injured guy out for 4-6 weeks. Only thing I can think of is are they potentially exploiting cap rules by putting him on ltir which leaves enough space for another deal?

a third? No way. No way bruins paid a third for a 35 year old maroon.
Gotta do a search from last week posts where Maroon was at top of my list
You win the trade deadline pool.
I wanted them to add some assholes, but an old, slow guy in his mid 30s that's still on IR after back surgery was not the asshole I wanted
Now hear me out. What if he still has it. But the back injury was a few years in and the surgery might have fixed a nagging pain. Just maybe maroon is better when he comes back then he was for his last season in Tampa. Or maybe he pots 3 playoff goals. That would also be a nice
