It doesn't matter what EP40 has accomplished, it is what he is now and how much he is paid. They can have Joki and frankly the Canucks should jump on that offer if they are smart. $11 million to be spent elsewhere for them

The issue is one gets paid 4.5 million more, and might be on the decline due to injury. Not saying it would definitely be an issue but that contract is a huge risk

No one is gonna say they want to be in that situation

It's time to trade and get players that may not "want" to be here. It's then the pegulas and staff to make being here enjoyable

What if it is the beginning of the end??? He doesn't seem able to bounce back from a year old knee injury. What he did before isn't particularly relevant .

And I think it is fair to wonder how hard a 26 year old man who is 6'2" and weighs 175 lbs. works on his body and recovery
