That’s what is so impressive about this Caps season. They’ve beaten just about every top team; some more than once (VGK, FLA, EDM, NJD, TOR) along with the others (COL, DAL, CAR, TBL, LAK, VAN).

I think WPG, and MIN are the only top teams we haven’t beaten (and it was OTL to the Peg).

Anyways, I’m doing this from memory late at night, so forgive me if I got some of it wrong, lol.

One of my biggest pet peeves is teams doing this shit. Carolina is not Hartford. The Avs are not the Nordiques. The Nats are not the Expos. Franchises are not just who owns it and their history should belong to the city. It's a giant middle finger to the fans who's hearts you ripped out by moving the team.

One of the few good things Meruelo did was making sure that the branding and the franchise records stayed with Arizona and didn't get transferred to Utah. Shane Doan isn't a UHC legend, he's a Coyotes legend.
