His skill is great at his size but his motor really brings him together as a player, those three factors make him a nightmare. So energetic, he just goes and goes and goes.
I say this a lot but the ability to win back the puck reminds me of Datsyuk, he steals pucks he has no business winning and it really makes him a monster 5 v 5.

Way to get the lead Jackets. Now quit coughing it up coming out of our zone, get it deep and make their D look over their shoulder in the third.

You can tell from that interview that Meredith still isn't over it. Not surprisingly. It's literally been six months. PK Subban said something pretty insightful during that interview when he thanked her for letting the hockey world share in the process with her. I hadn't really thought of it in that context, but Meredith could have (and no one would have blamed her for it) just completely withdrawn from the public eye and gone through this quietly and privately. By participating in some of the things the hockey world has publicly done to honor Johnny, it's furthered the hockey community's ability to process some of their grief and show their appreciation for him as well. And it's got to be a double-edged sword for her, because while the outpouring of support from the NHL and Team USA and everyone else has been touching, it's also keeping the whole thing front and center constantly.

She seems like a true class act.

Not just her, but my opinion of PK went up a few notches from him noting that.

It always hits me suddenly and quickly, I just burst in to tears towards the end of Meredith's time with the ESPN panel. She and the rest of the Gaudreau family has displayed tremendous strength in the public eye while dealing with such personal loss.

They've all given so much to fans, shared so much with us, and while I'm sure it helps them on some level to grieve with the hockey world, I've really appreciated seeing glimpses in to how they are doing as a family. It's nice to see them take in the public support, to see Guy Gaudreau at practices, to see the team at Johnny's children's birthday parties. I'm so glad to see them receive the love from Columbus and the entire world of hockey fans. It's so heartwarming.
