RIP CapFriendly

The Caps can suck it. What a stupid and pointlessly petty move.

The Crapitols probably have a non-compete. But I hope before they prepared to cash out, have shown someone else how to build the numbers and web site so after it's shutdown, another one pops up immediately. LOL so the money spent is wasted. :D:nod::popcorn: We can hope.

Does this mean CapFriendly will soon cease to exist as a result of a NHL franchise purchased of the site. NHL fans deserve to know the players salaries and contracts because we are the one who are investing time and moneys in these players.

Are there alternative sites that would offer the same or even better quality of players contracts and salaries?

It is hard to believe that there were NHL clubs that relied on tools from CapFriendly without having anything in house.

These are literal Billion dollar companies that are using tools the same way as us fans.

It's astonishing how often massive businesses either don't bother to do things in house (because it would cost money to hire an intern who knows how to use basic Excel - that's seriously all you need to replicate the data set that Capfriendly has), or who spend money in stupid ways so that they don't have to do things in house (I still have not figured out the value of using Concur; I travel extensively for work and just do everything through the airline/hotel/rental car companies directly, which actually costs less money than paying SAP to give us a less-useful portal that appears to exist so that middle managers can look important by "approving" travel costs ahead of time).

Didn't know where else to post this but over the moon excited and had to share. Officially locked in for season tickets to Utah HC.

Now we pray the scheduling gods give us 2 games vs San Jose so I can rock my Celebrini jersey and see a true road game for the first time in my life
