NHL investigating Oilers usage of LTIR with Kane’s contract

Vancouver and Chicago were punished with cap hits for Luongo and Keith retiring.

Everyone ltir situation was investigated, there's no manipulatior making favorites choices. Its just a lot of incompetence

For Keith didnt the oilers have his full cap hit on their books even though he was on 1.5 mill or something. Oilers could have used that savings the next season

It's from page four of this thread. Here's a link:

Is reading hard? I said I didn't read all the posts in the thread with over 300 posts. Why do you read all posts in every thread?

There hasn't been a story about Vegas on TSN or any other news outlet. It was just speculation.
You tell me if reading is hard for you, you're the one who doesn't read and then complains about the lack of content. Again, it's been pointed out to you several times in this thread alone by multiple different posters that information you say hasn't been shown to you, has actually in fact been mentioned already.

Try searching "Las Vegas LTIR investigation" or "Mark Stone LTIR investigation" and it's like the first three results.

Or even just look at the second post above this one.

If that doesn't work, maybe go digest your content on TikTok if you don't have the attention span to read.

Didn't say I didn't read, said I didn't read the whole thread. So once again you didn't actually read what I wrote. You are just one of those people like many on HF who argue with a misrepresentation of what others say to "prove" your point.

Kane in 2015 and Stone in 2024 were way more obvious. They both were so incredibly injured, but ready for Game 1 of the playoffs.
This is stated often on HF but here are the facts. Kane broke his clavicle on February 24th. A broken clavicle in adults, according to John Hopkins, takes 10 to 12 weeks to heal. Ten weeks from February 24th is May 5th. The playoffs started on April 15th. Kane came back early.

It was convenient but totally legit. Jason Zucker also broke his collarbone in February of that year (on the 9th) and was diagnosed to need 3 months to recover. He also returned early on April 7th (an 8 week recovery).

Now Stone on the other hand ...

They did a similar investigation for the Leafs after Lupul posted on social media that it was a sham IR designation IIRC. That's the last time I remember the NHL actually digging into this.
NHL only investigates Canadian teams and hands them punishment. Remember the Luongo penalty which NJ avoided or Ottawa penalized draft picks for doing nothing. The favouritism is comical.

Chicago was penalized for Keith retiring, the same way Vancouver was for Luongo, it seems many dont realize it because nobody complains or talks about it. Because not everyone thinks so conspirital about these topics.

You would see looking through the thread, it's been pointed out those American teams were investigated too. You dont need to be leaping to nonsense.
