Very disappointing number. Friday’s game only on NHL Network and Sunday’s early start were terrible decisions. NHL fumbled what should have been monster numbers for such a historic moment.

Over 900K on early Sunday afternoon is not a disappointing number on TNT imo. That is a big win for everybody. Look at the average NHL average viewership on TNT this season, this was a much needed big number considering how down the numbers have been.

Turned out to be a smart move, even though game time was decided months ago, it allowed all Europe and Russia to watch as well.Very disappointing number. Plus the game aired regionally (locally) on Monumental. The area most-interested, so the U.S. # is higher. And of course Canada, would hope NHL PR puts out the NA audience #.
Another brutal number. The playoffs could get really ugly.-NHL on ESPN avg viewership Tuesday-
Leafs-Panthers: 216k

ESPN is really killing it (negative connotation), I remember when they put the National Finals game on ABC. Ever since that game, it has been stuck behind a paywall type of mechanics. The final was normally always on ESPN, but now it's on ESPN2.For those that were waiting on NCAA Tournament #'s, finally got those:
-NCAA Tournament avg viewership March 27-28th-
THU ESPNU BU-OSU: 54k
THU ESPNU Minnesota State-WMU: 35k
THU espn2 OT Minnesota State-WMU: 186k

One of your dumbest takes of all time, which is saying something. The league got 1.3 million for a non exclusive game on cableVery disappointing number. we already know what the numbers would look like for a series between Toronto and a Florida based hockey team.Another brutal number. The playoffs could get really ugly.
you think that guy is Steve Lepore? Despite his cancellation for creepy behaviour, Steve had good takes on hockey media. He actually used to post here as SteveL. Years ago he actually sent me some DVD's from some sort of twitter contest he did. I was best games of both Chicago and Washington. Done right before Chicago had its mini dynasty. One of your dumbest takes of all time, which is saying something. The league got 1.3 million for a non exclusive game on cable
"Disappointing number" lololol.
Never change, Steve. Never change
This would be better as a PM in my opinion, but here it goesyou think that guy is Steve Lepore? Despite his cancellation for creepy behaviour, Steve had good takes on hockey media. The worst one will be Carolina and New Jersey, calling it now. A series lacking star players in both markets that are coming off pretty disappointing years last year and so far this year.So we are close to see a battle of ontario first round matchup. I think it can draw well in the US. Tampa v Florida and Stars v Avs should be the top series. I'm not sure about yet another Kings v Oilers.
Hmmmmmm
The second round series they had only averaged something like 1.4 million viewers, and first round games arent exclusive, so Im interested in seeing the numbers they generate. The worst one will be Carolina and New Jersey, calling it now.
