Drouin will get the bag if he wants to. There’s $6M-7M out there for him in this market. He won’t get that from Colorado. So he either takes a bargain, or moves on.

If the Wild put him on the wing the contract will still be a bit rough, but more palatable.

He’s not a good centre. Like they did with Colton, the Avs love to make part-time centres, full-time centres.

I’m just glad I don’t have to worry about them doing it at 1 and 2C for the foreseeable future.

I think trenin has 3C upside but i wouldnt have just given him 3C money to take that gamble. Would have been fine at 2M.
