So it's come to this

I expect that the referrIng is probably going to be incompetent.....a sad but true reality

BUT

When four calls go against the same team ( kneeing, goalie interference, covering the puck and roughing ) ...the last three in OT then the word biased has to be used

And even worse.....it continues a trend that we have seen through-out the series

Refs propping up teams doesn't begin to approach this level of carp we have experienced

Chris Lee was reffing the game. He was determined that the Bruins were going to lose last night. I am hoping that Lee, Peel and Furlatt aren't one of the two refs tomorrow, or the game might go into 6 overtimes, with the Bruins scoring about five goals in the process, which will all be called back.

I can't imagine how frustrated Cassidy and the players have to be, to be the victims of such blatant bias. It's so obvious, that even family and friends of ours that root for other NHL teams are now sympathizing with us instead of mocking us in a friendly fashion. I've seen fans from all over the NHL who watched a couple of the games in this series, including last night's game, actually defend the Bruins and call out the refs in their posts. Before, they would laugh and cheer when a call didn't go our way. You know the reffing is really bad when fans from Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa (quite a few Ottawa fans have expressed shock at the reffing bias against us), Buffalo, and both NY teams are taking to FB and Twitter expressing disgust. It does make me feel good to see that other fans around the NHL are sticking up for us here in Boston. My cousin, who is a Coyotes fan, has been disgusted with the games in this series along with some of the regular season games he's watched this year. He said he hoped to not have to deal with a Bruins/Coyotes final in the near future (obviously not this year, haha) as he wouldn't have the patience to deal with all the Bruins goals being reviewed. :biglaugh:

That was the NHLs chance to redeem themselves for the **** show they put Boston through in the game 3 OT. And they still blew it.

And me? I don't care about redemption. I just want to see the correct calls being made. I want some consistency not only from game to game, but within each individual game.

And I want the NHL to acknowledge the glaring mistakes and state a plan to eliminate them.

Outside of a general distaste for the Bruins, that many Canadians share, I don't believe the refs are consciously trying to eff over the team...that bias does show at times, though...it's only human...

It's more about a general concern to make sure they don't do in a Canadian team...it's why they are so fearful of being decisive on calls against Team Canada...

The goal. No pointing. No nothing. But without any of that they went with goalie interference as the call on the ice...

The handling the puck in the crease. No interest. A major play blown off. Prime scoring chance. "No goal. The puck didn't cross the line."

No crap. Way to divert.

They always are cautious with Canadian teams. I'm guessing for no other reason than rabid scrutiny.

You can eff over the Bruins and nothing really comes of it. Nothing of substance that doesn't blow over in a week.

Kill a Canadian team...and you're branded for life.

Chris Rooney should face that treatment around here.

The play where Ceci Broke his stick, and then dove into Chara's knees, tackling him as he was breaking in alone to the goal in OT was just beyond belief. They need to get in front of a podium after a game and explain how that can be allowed to happen. Just unbelievable
